These are our basic warranty policies.
Standard
Warranty
Products sold by Ricks PC Parts
are supported by our Standard Warranty unless otherwise indicated.
Merchandise under our Standard Warranty may be returned within 7
days of the original invoice date for a refund and up to 30 Days for
replacement. After 30 Days, the manufacturer's warranty will take
effect All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise
Authorization) number. The item is then returned to the distributor
for inspection and the distributor makes the final decision. Refunds
can take from 14 to 30 days to process depending on the item and the
circumstances. There will be a 15% restocking fee on returned
products that are not defective. Because many companies offer
additional factory coverage, you should contact the manufacturer
directly for information regarding eligibility and specific Terms
and Conditions.

Refund Policy
If an item is returned
for a refund, the item cannot be opened and all package seals must
be in tact unless the item is defective.
We can not offer a refund on a
product that has been opened or used. If we receive a product that
has been opened or the seal tape has been tampered with or broken,
we will return the item to the customer unless the item is
defective. Refunds can take from 14 to 30 days to process after we
receive the item depending on the item and the circumstances. If
the customer orders an item from Ricks PC Parts and then decides he
or she doesn't want the product or he or she ordered the wrong
product, the customer is responsible for returning the product
unopened to Ricks PC Parts. Non defective items returned will
reflect a 15% restocking fee on the refund.

| Retail CPUs
Refund period: 7 days from the
original invoice date.
Replacement period: CPU manufacturers generally offer a 3-year
warranty on retail processors. Please contact the manufacturer
directly for specific warranty Terms and Conditions.

| Physical Damage
Policy
Physical damage
to any product purchased at Ricks PC Parts will effectively void our
standard and/or Extended Warranty coverage.
Improper installation of CPU fans
and/or improper clocking may cause CPUs to chip or burn. CPUs that
are chipped, burnt or have bent pins are considered physically
damaged and cannot be returned for refund or replacement. Physical
damage includes but is not limited to improper handling and/or any
other type of damage sustained by irregular usage.
We encounter bent pins regularly when inspecting
physically damaged CPUs. Forcing a processor into position will not
solve an installation problem and may result in applicable warranty
coverage being voided. Because Intel and AMD does not accept
physically damaged processors, Ricks PC Parts will return any
physically damaged CPU to you at your expense.

| OEM CPUs
Refund period: 7 days from the
original invoice date if it is DOA.
Replacement period: 30 days from original invoice date.

| Additional CPU
Warranty Terms
Declaring a CPU is defective and
requesting a Refund does not automatically waive the restocking fee.
All defective and DOA CPUs will be replaced upon return.
Ricks PC Parts will not cross-ship replacement CPUs.
Your return must be postmarked within 7 days of the original invoice
date to qualify for a refund.
Physical damage of any kind will void any applicable Standard or
Extended warranty coverage.

Retail
Products
Retail merchandise is warranted by
Ricks PC Parts for 30 days. Additional warranty coverage is offered
exclusively by the manufacturer. |
OEM
Products
OEM merchandise is covered by our
Standard Warranty (30 day replacement, excluding CPUs) unless
otherwise indicated. |
Software
Retail software may only be
returned for a refund within 7 days of the invoice date. If the
packaging is unopened. Opened retail software cannot be returned for
refund or replacement. All OEM software including operating systems
are 100% non-refundable once purchased and delivered. OEM versions
are intended for system builders only and cannot be transferred to
another PC once installed. Purchasers of this software are required
to comply with the terms of the System Builder License, including
responsibility for providing all end-user support. Ricks PC Parts
is not responsible for system/software incompatibility, and
incompatibility issues do not qualify software as damaged or
defective. Customers are encouraged to contact the respective
software publisher for answers to technical questions, such as
minimum system requirements, prior to purchase. |
